Background
After obtaining his Law Degree from the University of Melbourne Thomas spent 5 years with White Cleland Lawyers where he specialized in representing clients in Magistrates Court cases both criminal and civil. He then commenced a general practice which he managed for 15 years continuing to represent clients in the Magistrates Court and in acting in most general areas of law.He then retired from the law practice.
More recently Tom has restricted his legal practice to Magistrates Court Work and practicing as a locum solicitor.

Thomas' successful career as a solicitor/advocate in the Magistrates court includes

Thomas has assisted the Law Institute of Victoria in managing a Law Firm on its behalf.
He has also assisted Victoian Legal Aid by acting as duty solicitor on its behalf.
Thomas has also managed many private Victorian Law Firms allowing sole practicioners to take a holiday and he has assisted many firms by taking conduct of work overload or preparing for a court hearing in areas such as Family Law or disputes in the Supreme Court or County Court.
